Econoce’s roasted hazelnut spread is made with the finest organic hazelnuts, with nothing else added. This allows us to retain all the organoleptic characteristics of this nut, offering you a spread with an intense flavour typical of roasted hazelnuts, along with a creamy texture that makes it perfect to use as it is or mixed with honey. Organic roasted hazelnut spread is also excellent for topping yoghurt and ice cream, as well as for fruit salads and pancakes. Hazelnut spread makes a perfect addition to countless recipes!

  • How are Econoce’s spreads made?

    The nuts are either left natural or roasted, depending on the type. They are then finely ground to achieve the desired consistency and density.

  • Do Econoce’s spreads contain added sugars, oils, or other additives?

    No, Econoce’s spreads do not contain added sugars (they naturally contain sugars), oils, emulsifiers, or other additives, ensuring the purity of the nuts.

  • Are Econoce’s spreads vegan?

    Econoce’s creams contain no animal derivatives but only dried fruits.

  • Are Econoce’s spreads gluten-free?

    At Euro Company, we have focused on developing a rigorous cleaning procedure and on training and raising awareness among staff about allergen issues. Since gluten is present in our facility, we have conducted scheduled cross-contact tests, which so far have not shown any actual contamination of our products. Additionally, our jars of spread are packaged and stored in areas where the only allergens that might accidentally contaminate the product are PEANUTS and NUTS.

  • How long do Econoce nut spreads keep? How should I store them?

    To find out how long they keep, check the date on the packaging. They can be stored at room temperature. However, in warmer weather, such as during summer, it is best to store them in the refrigerator. This will help extend their shelf life, make them firmer, slow down oil separation, and reduce the risk of rancidity, especially
    for spreads made from roasted nuts.

  • What is the recommended optimal daily serving of Econoce spreads?

    The recommended daily portion of nuts advised by nutrition experts is 30 g. Since Econoce spreads are made only with nuts and have the same nutritional values, the recommended quantity is the same as for plain nuts.

  • Why might there be oil on the surface? Do Econoce spreads contain oil?

    No, the oil visible on the surface is the natural oil present in the nuts that separates from their fibrous part. With no additives, this is a completely normal occurrence. Simply stir the product vigorously, ensuring to reach the bottom of the jar, to restore its typical consistency.

  • How can I use Econoce spreads?

    Econoce spreads can be used on bread, rice cakes, or toast, or used as a topping for ice cream or yoghurt, or as an ingredient in cakes, desserts, and biscuits. They can also be used in savoury recipes, such as salad dressings, to add creaminess to risottos, or to decorate main dishes.

  • Can I eat them before exercising?

    Yes, generally about three hours before physical activity to avoid feeling weighed down. In the case of intense physical activity, it is advisable to consult your doctor to determine the optimal timing and quantities for consumption.

  • Can I use them during weaning?

    For children during weaning, we recommend consulting your paediatrician for advice on the recommended quantities and the best ways to incorporate these spreads into their diet.
